  2. Install flashplugin-nonfree (from section contrib):

Any commands with a # at the start means “as root”.

# apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree


# update-flashplugin-nonfree --status
# update-flashplugin-nonfree --install


How to Uninstall the Adobe Flash Player, and the flashplugin-nonfree package:

# update-flashplugin-nonfree --uninstall
# apt-get remove flashplugin-nonfree
